Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

indiekbeauty Creators (the “Platform”) is operated by Beauty Bridge Inc (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 19700 S Vermont Ave, STE 200, Torrance, CA 90502, USA. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Platform to take part in our affiliate and product seeding programs, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

From your TikTok account. You sign in using TikTok Login Kit. TikTok asks you to grant the following permissions, and provides us with:

• user.info.basic — your TikTok open ID and union ID (identifiers TikTok assigns to your account for our app), your display name, and your profile picture.
• user.info.profile — your TikTok username (your @handle), so we know which account your campaign posts come from. We do not request your bio or other profile details.
• video.list — a list of the videos you have posted publicly on TikTok. For each video: its ID, title and caption (including any hashtags and @mentions in it), cover image, link, length, the time it was posted, its view, like, comment, and share counts, and whether TikTok labels it as AI-generated.

TikTok does not give us your email address, phone number, password, direct messages, private or draft videos, or the video files themselves. We never receive or store your TikTok password.

Information you give us. Because TikTok does not share contact details, we ask you to provide them directly. When you sign up: your full name and email address, optionally your Instagram profile, your main content category, and whether you have worked with brands before; we record when you agree to our Terms of Service and confirm that you live in the United States. When you apply to a campaign: the phone number and U.S. shipping address for that campaign's package (the latest one is saved as your default for the next application), the product you choose, and your answers to any questions the campaign asks, which we explain at the time.

Information collected automatically. Our servers log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of each request. We set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this Platform.

3. How we use your information

• To create and authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
• To identify you and verify that your TikTok account matches the creator we are working with.
• To contact you about campaigns, product shipments, and account matters.
• To ship products to you for seeding campaigns and to calculate any affiliate commission owed.
• To confirm that content you agreed to post for a campaign has been published, stays public for the agreed period, and carries the required disclosure, as set out in our Terms of Service.
• To keep the Platform secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

4. Your TikTok connection and videos

When you connect your TikTok account, TikTok issues us an access token and a refresh token so that the connection stays active without asking you to sign in repeatedly. We store these tokens encrypted at rest and use them only to identify your account and to read the list of your public videos described in section 2. We do not use them to post, edit, or delete content, read your messages, or take any other action on your TikTok account.

When you are selected for a campaign, we read the videos you posted after applying to find your campaign post, matched by the campaign’s hashtags or the brand’s @handle, and show them to you so you can choose or correct it. We keep a record of a campaign post’s details as they were when we last checked, so that we can show a campaign was completed even if the video is later edited or removed. We keep such records only for the videos linked as your campaign post; other videos are shown to you but not stored.

You can disconnect at any time from your TikTok account settings (Security and login → Manage app permissions). Once you revoke access, the tokens stop working, we can no longer see your videos, and you will no longer be able to sign in to the Platform with TikTok. If you disconnect while a campaign post is still required to stay public, we may be unable to confirm it; see our Terms of Service.

5. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers who operate the Platform on our behalf — cloud hosting and database services, email delivery, and shipping carriers that deliver products to you. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
• Legal and safety — when we are required to by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
• Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete it, we delete your profile and TikTok tokens, except where we must retain certain records — for example transaction and tax records related to commission payments or product shipments — for the period required by law.

Records of campaign videos are kept for the campaign, including the period its posts must stay public, and afterwards only for as long as we need them to resolve questions about that campaign, such as a dispute over whether its content was posted.

7. Your rights and choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to disconnect your TikTok account, by writing to privacy@b2beautie.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request deletion or correction, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. As stated above, we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

8. Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption of TikTok tokens at rest, access controls that limit internal access to staff who need it, and session cookies that cannot be read by scripts in your browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the appropriate authorities of a breach as required by law.

9. Children

The Platform is for creators aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have done so, we will delete the account and the information.

10. Where your information is processed

We operate from the United States, and your information is processed and stored on servers located in the United States. If you use the Platform from another country, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will notify you by email or through the Platform before the change takes effect.
